Profil

Ely Elprida Sigiro, S.E. is an alumna of the Development Economics Program at UNPAR and currently serves as a Faculty Cadre in the Undergraduate Program of Development Economics at UNPAR. She actively combines her academic role with research and community engagement, making her a key contributor to economic innovation within the campus environment.

She has been involved in various research projects, including a study on the effectiveness of village fund utilization for the development of tourism villages in collaboration with the Fiscal Policy Agency of the Ministry of Finance, published in the Journal of Event, Tourism and Hospitality Studies. Another study on poverty convergence is forthcoming in the Majalah Geografi Indonesia (Sinta 2). She frequently presents her research at international conferences, such as The 17th International Conference IRSA in Lombok, and serves as an Editor for the Parahyangan Economic Development Review (PEDR) Journal.

In addition to her research, she actively develops her expertise through international short courses at MIT, USA, including Foundations of Development Policy and The Challenges of Global Poverty. In the realm of community engagement, she is part of the Community Service Team of the Economics Department at UNPAR, collaborating with ASTRA to empower communities in Linggamukti Village, Purwakarta, West Java.
