Profil

Nina is an alumna of Development Economics at UNPAR and furthered her studies at the East-West Center (Honolulu, Hawaii), the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and Colorado State University in the United States. She earned her Master of Arts in Economics from both the University of Hawaii and Colorado State University, and later completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics at Colorado State University. During her academic journey, she was awarded prestigious scholarships, including the Asian Development Bank – Government of Japan Scholarship and the Fulbright Scholarship.

Her areas of expertise include Public Economics, Community Economics, Social Capital, and Microeconomics. Her passion for teaching was recognized when she was selected as a Teagle Fellow for Undergraduate Economics Teaching at Barnard College, Columbia University, in the United States. She also gained extensive teaching experience while pursuing her graduate studies, working with undergraduate students at both the University of Hawaii and Colorado State University.

Nina’s dedication to research is reflected in her work, which has been presented at various international conferences such as the Pacific Regional Science Conference, North American Regional Science Conference, East-West Center Association Conference, and the East-West Center International Graduate Student Conferences.

Outside academia, she has a deep appreciation for jazz music, street photography, and political conspiracy films, interests that bring balance and creativity to her professional life.
